Legends look to bounce back against the Stars

After last night’s tough loss to the Northern Arizona Suns, the Legends are back on the court tonight looking to kickstart a new winning streak against the Salt Lake City Stars.

With constant roster turnover in the last few weeks, the Legends must find their chemistry fast as the playoffs are right around the corner. And that chemistry starts with the point guard position.

Newly acquired Willie Warren made his debut last night and with the helps of fellow new acquisition Duke Mondy, the production from the point guard position is huge for the Legends success for the rest of the season.

“Playing with a new team, filling in late in the season like this can be tough but we’ll get better,” Warren promised following last night’s loss to the Suns.

Currently sitting at the bottom of the Westren Conference, the Stars’ season hasn’t gone as they’d have hoped. Though their record doesn’t show it, this team doesn’t go down easily.

Johnathan Motley and Jameel Warney will go toe-to-to with two fellow young big men in Tony Bradley and Diamond Stone. The team that wins the battle on the boards should come out victorious.

Tonight’s game will end a three-game homestand for the Legends and will spark a three-game road trip beginning next weekend.
