Around 10 PM on Monday, Denis Gurianov’s rocket one-timer flew into the upper right corner of the goal to send the Dallas Stars to their first trip to the Stanley Cup Finals since 2000. In a season that started with training camp last September, the Stars will continue their stay north of the border with a trip to the Finals a year later in the same season. Truly insane on so many levels.
The Gurianov shot sent the Metroplex into a frenzy in their living rooms, on social media, and even at the American Airlines Center.
