Tanner, a Middle Tennessee State product and Dallas native, spent three seasons with the Cowboys, after going undrafted in the 2011 NFL Draft. He appeared in 41 games, recording 56 carries for 149 yards and two touchdowns with nine receptions for 93 yards.
