Dallas Mavericks Host 2017 NBA Draft Party

DALLAS, TX–On Thursday evening, the Dallas Mavericks hosted their Official Watch Party for the 2017 NBA Draft at Henderson Tap House. The party featured the Dallas Mavericks Dancers, the ManiAAC’s, Mavs Bingo, and a special appearance by Dallas Maverick Seth Curry

ESPN 103.3’s Mike Peasley, Jean-Jacques Taylor, and Mark Elfenbein hosted a Q&A session for Curry and MFFLs in attendance, who were greeted with prize giveaways along with food and drink specials.

After much anticipation, the Mavs selected Dennis Smith, Jr. out of North Carolina State. The crowd erupted with cheers as he was announced to join Dallas next season as a potential starting point guard for the 2017-2018 season.

Credentialed media member and photographer covering the Dallas Wings | Born and raised in south Fort Worth, I graduated from Burleson High School in 2008. I have a natural love for Dallas sports teams, especially the Mavs and basketball in general. After working with my family's business for a few years, then Enterprise for a year, I dropped everything to use my 10-plus years of experience in photography to follow my love and passion in the sports field. I'm excited to see where this journey takes me.
