The grind never really stops.
As it turns out, All-NBA Rookie Second team wasn’t quite enough for Dallas Mavericks guard Yogi Ferrell as shown by photographer Jimmy Lafakis who captured the 2016 undrafted Indiana University alum at a workout with Joey Burton at The SportZone in Indianapolis, Indiana on Wednesday.
Ferrell received recognition after being the only undrafted player to be selected to the All-Rookie team and even received a vote for 2016-17 Rookie of the Year honors.
In 36 games with the Mavs, Ferrell averaged 11.3 points, 4.3 assists, 2.8 rebounds, 1.1 steals and 29.0 minutes per game after signing a multi-year contract in early February. He was even named Western Conference Rookie of the Month for games played in February.
