Vote now: Who is the best current athlete in DFW?

With the face of Dallas-Fort Worth sports, Dirk Nowitzki, playing his last NBA game in April, the crown for greatest current DFW athlete is back up for grabs.

Now Dallas Sports Fanatic wants to hear your voice in determining the top 20 current professional athletes in the DFW Metroplex.  Click HERE to cast your vote.  You will first be able to select your five best candidates, rank them 1-5, then write in any additional five athletes you think deserve to be mentioned in the conversation.  Overall, we will post a countdown of the top 20 athletes here on our site over the next few weeks!  Voting will only be open for a limited time, so let your voice be heard!

Below are several candidates from six of our area’s professional squads with a tiny resume for each.  Try to educate yourself on those you’re not as familiar with so your most fair and accurate vote is provided!  If you don’t see someone below that you think deserves to be ranked, write them in when you’re asked to rank five additional athletes on the survey form.
