Wings, Mystics matchup presents multiple All-Stars following Cambage’s historic performance

Dallas (13-9) returns to action tonight to host the Washington Mystics just two days after witnessing a record-setting performance from Wings center Liz Cambage.

Cambage and Diggins-Smith were named WNBA All-Stars on Tuesday evening after Cambage set a league record by scoring 53 points (17-of-22 from the field) on Tuesday in a 104-87 win against New York.

Now Cambage, Diggins-Smith and the rest of the Wings roster has their sights set on back-to-back wins.

Washington is let by standout forward Elena Delle Donne. Delle Donne will serve as a player/captain during the 2018 WNBA All-Star game and joins Cambage (21.4 ppg) among the top five leading scorers in the league averaging 20.6 points per game.

The Mystics also sit at 13-9 ahead of tonight’s matchup — the first of three meetings between both teams. Dallas secured victories in two out of four meetings against Washington in 2017 despite ultimately losing to the Mystics in the playoffs.

Tip off is scheduled for 7 p.m. from the College Park Center in Arlington. Fans can also tune to ESPN2 for coverage or follow along live via Twitter.
